Planning Your Safari at Almar Safaris
Your Complete Guide to Booking, Preparing & Experiencing the Hunt of a Lifetime in South Africa
We have Exemption Permits and therefore you do not need a Hunter's licence. A Transport Permit for meat / biltong hunters will be issued by us.
On arrival at the airport your rifle will be inspected and you will be issued with an import permit for the duration of your stay. Rifle calibre should be chosen according to the species to be hunted. For Plains Game a rifle in the. 30 calibre class will be sufficient.
